Congregational Council Members & Council Highlights
The Congregational Council meets the second Monday of each month. If you have a concern or question, please feel free to contact
a Council member.
The Church Council met on September 10th. Below are some highlights from the meeting.
A draft 2020 Budget was presented, followed by discussion.
Council approved use of the sanctuary for a recital on December 7, and also use of the Social Room by a Girl Scout Daisy Troup every other Sunday from 4:00 - 5:30pm, beginning October 6.
Godís Work, Our Hands/Rally Day was a huge success (see details, page 7) . Thanks to the many members who worked tirelessly to help us realize our goals!
We will provide dinners at Safe Harbor on October 18, Novem-ber 17 (Confirmation Classes) and December 15 (Council).
There has been very little information regarding the Easton Crop Walk. A suggestion was made that the confirmation classes hold a pancake breakfast to raise funds for the walk.
Jean Pleiss is now handling the Rednerís tapes fundraiser.
The outdoor service on August 18th was a success and received well by attendees.
Some vestments have been torn and soiled by a ramp that was placed inside of the sacristy vestment closet. The ramp has been removed and repairs will be made to the vestments.
Church attendance rolls are still being worked on. When this process is complete, name tags will be ordered for members.
